You can enable any entity, including custom ones to your segments by following these simple steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your first step is enabling your selected entity for tracking. To do this you need to go to settings and customisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/1_5F74F5D1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/1_thumb_73FA454F.png\" alt=\"1\" title=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next you want to customise the system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/2_1ED2A962.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/2_thumb_3A773558.png\" alt=\"2\" title=\"2\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll down to the entity you have selected and ensure Change Tracking has been enabled<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/3_412A3EDB.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/3_thumb_0EC66B5C.png\" alt=\"3\" title=\"3\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you will need to navigate to the Settings area of the Marketing App, go to Marketing data configuration and check the box for your selected entity. Only entities that have change tracking enabled appear here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/4_5C6297DC.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/4_thumb_779AF0DD.png\" alt=\"4\" title=\"4\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After ticking the box for your selected entity you need to publish the changes using the button in the top right. You can not remove an entity once it has been enabled, this change can take up to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/5_133F7CD4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/5_thumb_0C20405C.png\" alt=\"5\" title=\"5\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When your changes have published you will be able to use your newly enabled entity in Segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/6_050103E4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/license.citruslime.com\/cs\/blogs\/crmcs\/6_thumb_40C09C97.png\" alt=\"6\" title=\"6\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing to note is that your Segment will still be made up of Contacts so if you select Opportunity for example then you still need to end with a contact. You will notice I still have other options such as accounts and leads but this is because they have related contacts.
