I\u2019ve been working with a client to send out a satisfaction survey to a contact when a Case is resolved. I navigated to Flow and began to add my steps in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1 &gt;&gt;<\/strong> I set the conditions for my Flow being triggered. This is when a Case is resolved (statuscode eq 5), and a custom field equals a particular value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-481\" width=\"605\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image.png 940w, https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-300x181.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-768x464.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2 &gt;&gt;<\/strong> I use a couple of Get Row actions, as I\u2019m going to use this data in my customer voice email. The required fields are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To \u2013 This is the recipient, so in this case it\u2019s the email for the Contact<\/li><li>Project \u2013 The project your survey is saved under<\/li><li>Survey \u2013 The survey you want to send<\/li><li>Email template \u2013 The email the recipient will receive, with a link to the survey<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have used Flow before, then you may notice the Regarding and Recipient details fields are not following the usual format for populating a lookup. Typically it would something like <em>\/contact(Contact)<\/em>. I had to open a ticket with Microsoft to resolve this one but using the usual format will leave the Regarding field of the Customer Voice activity blank. In this case we using <em>contact,Contact<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-484\" width=\"586\" height=\"475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-2.png 940w, https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-2-300x244.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.citrus-lime.com\/crmc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2022\/11\/image-2-768x623.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 586px) 100vw, 586px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4 &gt;&gt;<\/strong> When your flow is triggered, an email will be sent to the Contact, and this will record a Customer Voice survey invite against the timeline. First you need to create these fields as variables. First Name, Last Name &amp; locale are there by default. You can do this by clicking Insert &gt; Personalised variables and selected your variable.
