Dynamics 365 for Marketing

Dynamics 365 for Marketing is a new and exciting marketing suite offered by Microsoft, which integrates with your instance of Dynamics 365 as an additional App.

Marketing is something that Dynamics has always allowed you to do but the truth was that there were better 3rd products available;  from 2018, Microsoft has decided to take things into their own hands and offer an extensive suite of features to suit modern digital marketing needs.

As we know modern marketing is driven by the ability to control how you market to your customer base, and with the amount of analytics available to us, it has never been easier to create targeted marketing campaigns with the right tools.

The suite offers a range of features, including:

  • Segments
    • How you divide up your customer base using conditions such as location
  • Email Templates
    • One of the best features of Dynamics for marketing is the ability to create professional emails with an easy to use drag and drop designer!
  • Map the Customer Marketing Journey
    • This allows you to target customers at different touch points with an arsenal of tools
  • Marketing Forms/Pages
    • Easily create forms and webpages, which can be used to gather information and create Leads & Contacts
  • Social Posts
    • Manage your social media profiles
  • LinkedIn Forms Integration
    • Attract new leads directly from LinkedIn.

We will be publishing feature-focus articles on the functionality offered by Dynamics for Marketing – both to introduce what the App can offer, and to help people working to the newly released certification from Microsoft for MB-220: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing.

Alongside the pure functionality side of the Marketing App, we will also be looking to describe the common Use Cases for tracking Marketing in today’s more digital environment, varying between traditional Email Marketing, Lead Nurture Programmes and Content Marketing.
