Our background with SharePoint and CRM

We have been working with Dynamics CRM and SharePoint since the initial release of Microsoft CRM v1.2 and SharePoint 2003 — and since the introduction of SharePoint Integration in CRM 2011 have consulted and built a number of different integrations for various projects, as well as written articles and blogs on how SharePoint can be used to bring Document Management best practise into CRM.
DocMan is the culmination of these efforts into a more App-based Product to deliver integration 'out-of-the-box'. (or in this case, out-of-the-app).
This expertise makes us some of the best in the business for integration between SharePoint and Dynamics — and if this may be useful to your business then please get in touch to discuss potential bespoke consultancy to help your business get the best from SharePoint and Dynamics.

Using Tasks between Microsoft Teams and Dynamics

Paul McQuillan | 21/04/2020 10:00:00

What’s the Benefit? One of the most common things I see as a Dynamics Consultant is how companies can acquire databases and store them in a non-collaborative fashion. Don’t get me wrong, Excel is a great tool, however version management and ease of access are always an area for concern. Enter Dynamics 365, you can share your database.... More

Teams, Documents & CRM, a Microsoft Dynamics Talk

Paul McQuillan | 15/04/2020 10:00:00

Microsoft Teams can suffer from' ‘bloat’ if too many Teams get created for too many purposes. This has historically been a problem for SharePoint where just too many Sites get created for Users to be able to relate to, and so end up conversely making information harder to find. We can manage this problem by having a purpose.... More

Using DocDrive365 for Teams Governance

Paul McQuillan | 10/04/2020 10:00:00

When we work on a Project or Client Engagement, we will often want to define a group of Team Members that need to collaborate on the Project and be kept up to date for Documents, Updates and Notifications – this can be for a temporary working team to achieve a particular outcome (such as a Sales Team for an Opportunity),.... Within SharePoint Online we can create Modern Team Sites, and these can be integrated into Microsoft Teams to support multiple channels of collaboration in Teams. This can be driven from Dynamics 365 using DocDrive365 – so that each record in Dynamics results in a New Team, or contributes to an Existing Team. The following steps aim to show.... More
