Dynamics 365 for Marketing: Embedding a Marketing Form on a website

Dynamics for Marketing allows you to add Marketing Forms to Marketing Pages, which are hosted on the Microsoft Portal, that forms your Dynamics for Marketing tenant. Most people would want to host their Marketing Forms on their own website, and this is possible with Form Hosting.

First of all you need to create a Marketing Form and make it live. Only then will the Form Hosting tab appear.

Here you will need to create a Form page and a whitelist rule

Use the quick create form to add a whitelist rule. Add your website as the name for the whitelist rule.

Once you have added your form page and whitelist rule, open the form page. Here you will see the script needed to embed the form on the website from the whitelist rule.

You will then need to pass the script onto a developer so they can embed the marketing form on a webpage of your choice. Depending on what type of web server and CMS system you are using, you may need to adjust the code (for example, by escaping some special characters), or adjust your system settings to allow scripts such as this one to be pasted in. ASP.NET Websites
Both ASP.NET pages and the Marketing Form code include form tags. These form tags will conflict and prevent the ability to submit data. To make your Marketing Form work on your ASP.NET pages, we recommended the following:

a. Embed your Marketing Form script on a separate, HTML webpage within your site
E.g. www.mywebsite.com/marketingform.html

b. On the page you wish to embed the Marketing Form, create an iframe and set the source to match the URL of the page where the Marketing Form is hosted
