We can use Dynamics for Marketing to build a schedule of Social Media Posts to help the performance of a particular Campaign or Landing Page.
This can be done by configuring a Social Media Channel such as Twitter or Facebook and then posting from Dynamics into this Channel.
Taking Twitter as an example, our first step to implementing this in Dynamics 365 is to visit the Settings Area of the Marketing App and opening the Social Posting Configuration area.
This shows us the list of Social Media Accounts that we have integrating with our instance of Dynamics, and we can use the NEW Button to start connecting a Channel and Account to our Schedule in Dynamics:

Taking a Twitter Account as an example, we can connect Dynamics to a particular Twitter Account within the Marketing Configuration area.

This then adds a Social Media Channel that can then be used within Dynamics for Marketing to post out to from the Social Posts section.
This initial view in Social Posts is our Calendar of Twits or Posts from Dynamics to Social Media.

We can then post immediate post-outs from Dynamics to Twitter, or scheduled twits over a period – this then builds our calendar of immediate engagements or scheduled engagements:

Where Dynamics for Marketing can be useful here is drawing upon Media or Video that we have stored within our Dynamics Marketing Assets and making it easier for us to post these out to Twitter or Facebook from this list of Assets.
NOTE: Historically Dynamics would typically ‘link-out’ to an Asset that is already stored elsewhere online – which could be difficult as it meant simply supplying a URL rather than dragging and dropping the Asset into Dynamics directly. This has been fixed up in Dynamics 365 for Marketing to give us an Asset Library in Dynamics that we can use to store and manage our Assets. For Marketing this can be crucial as gives our Marketeers access to the Asset Library we have as a business to help support our Marketing Engagements. (be they Social Media, Email Marketing or Online)
In the above example, we are pulling an image from our list of Marketing Assets stored in Dynamics and posting this to Twitter alongside the post content.
This process works in the same fashion for a Scheduled Twit to build up our Calendar of activity:

This gives us a way of marketing directly via Social Media and keeping track of our Posts and Activities to help draw in Engagement with our Products and Services.
For Engagement from Social Media (as opposed to schedule posts out to), this can be done by activating another Dynamics Component from Microsoft – the Social Engagement Module. This tracks engagement from Leads and Contacts in Social Media to provide Reporting within Dynamics.
